Finistack helps you understand your money in one place. By connecting your accounts, you can track spending, see trends, and get clear insights—without jumping between apps.
Finistack is designed to inform and organize, not replace your bank or financial professionals.
Is Finistack a bank or financial advisor?
No. Finistack is not a bank, brokerage, or registered investment advisor. We don’t hold funds, move money, or provide personalized investment, tax, or legal advice.
Account Connections
How does Finistack connect to my accounts?
Finistack uses trusted third‑party providers (such as Plaid or similar services) to securely link your financial institutions. You approve access through a secure connection flow.
Finistack never asks for or stores your banking passwords.
Why do connections sometimes need to be refreshed?
Banks occasionally change their systems or security settings. When that happens, you may be asked to reconnect so syncing can continue.
Data & Privacy
What information does Finistack use?
To power the app, Finistack may store:
Transactions (dates, amounts, merchants, categories)
Account details (type and reported balance)
Investment holdings (if connected)
Budgets, goals, and other things you create
Secure connection tokens for ongoing sync
Basic login information, like your email
What information is not stored?
Finistack does not store bank login credentials, PINs, or security question answers.
Always rely on your bank’s official statements for final accuracy.
Does Finistack sell my data?
No. Finistack is not built to sell personal financial data.
Some service providers help operate the platform (such as infrastructure, account connections, or analytics) and process data under strict contractual terms. Details are available in our Privacy Policy.
AI & Insights
Does Finistack use AI?
Yes. Some features use AI to explain patterns or summarize your activity in clear, everyday language.
When enabled, limited and relevant data may be shared with an external AI provider to generate responses. Never enter passwords, full account numbers, or other sensitive secrets into chat.
Are AI insights always accurate?
No. AI can make mistakes or simplify complex information. Use insights as helpful context—not as the sole basis for important financial decisions.
Accuracy & Updates
Why don’t my numbers always match my bank?
Balances and transactions depend on how often financial institutions update data. Pending or recently posted transactions can cause temporary differences.
Your bank’s statements are always the source of truth.

Is there a waitlist?
There may be a waitlist at times to manage demand and maintain a high‑quality experience. If approved, you’ll be able to sign up using the available login options.
How do I get help or close my account?
